I'm back in the mix after a ridiculous 7 month publishing hiatus. What can I say... other priorities put this blog on ice for a bit. Thanks to everyone who's emailed asking what's up and encouraging me to post again. It's motivated me knowing that a few of you were missing the updates.

Most of my mixes tend to be funk and hip-hop focused. This one is a sampling of house tracks, mainly on the deep/jazz/afro side of the spectrum. If you like this mix, also check out mix # 6.
